Liban Abokor is the Founder and Managing Partner of Reimagine LABS, a tech start-up offering
data analytics solutions for companies aiming to create effective social interventions. In addition,
he co-founded and co-chairs the Foundation for Black Communities (FFBC) , Canada’s first
philanthropic foundation that is Black-led and focuses on serving Black communities.
Established in 2020, FFBC invests in Black-led, serving, and focused nonprofits, charities, and groups to counter the lack of resources and systematic underinvestment they face. The vision of FFBC is to ensure every Black person and all Black communities have the resources, supports, and agency to thrive and define their own futures.
