I am an executive with an over twenty-five-year track record of executive leadership in all sectors: Public, Private and Non- Profit.

Currently, the Executive Advisor on the UN Decade For People of African Descent (UNDPAD) Initiatives within the department of Employment and Social Development Canada.

Previous roles included Executive Director of the Employment Equity Act Legislative Review as well as, the Government of Canada Policy and management lead of the innovative and – first of its kind – Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative Program. The aim of both of these experiences is to remove systemic barriers – social and economic – so every Canadian has a fair and equal chance to contribute to, and benefit from, an inclusive made in Canada prosperity.

Outside of the work context, I best describe myself as father to four amazing children, and the lucky guy who got the coolest girl, mother and friend to say yes – let’s try this thing called Black Family Excellence.

When relaxing, expect to hear the musical rhythms of Blues and Jazz, and the constant refrain of ‘who got next’ at the card or domino tables.

I am bilingual in both English and French.
